Why I've always been against the aesthetic use of PMMA.
The decision to never use PMMA on my patients didn't come on impulse. It came from what I believe... PMMA, despite offering immediate and noticeable results, has always carried documented risks:

When I weighed those risks against what existed (and exists) of safe and effective alternativesThe numbers never added up.
